I sit here and I yearn for this. Having this type of family is what I was I could have. This type of family I will raise or have beautiful childern like the ones here. To be amazing to parents like the ones here. 

As I sit here in a spring night in Minnesota, Emily plays the piano. Two of the daughters are in my home state Texas helping with a Christian program camp. Their son is in Hawaii in a College for media/music and reaching out to people to come to Christ. And then Bethany here is a character She is so outgoing and she is hilarious and has such a good heart in her. Gracee the little one is adorable and is going to be one awesome woman of God. 

Do they know how good they have it here? The parents? The family? the closeness?

I do not want to go home to my broken home. To a mother who doesn’t speak to me and to a father who doesn’t know Christ. Sisters who are with Christ and a sister who has her own life with her kids. My family is separated and broken, do they know what it feels like it?

This is why I want to get married so I can have a family like this. So I can raise children that love Jesus. To have a husband who will love me unconditionally and will raise a family with me that fears God. To be the leader and lead me and our children in the way of Christ. 

To a be a family like this one and the Lindsey’s in Texas who take in every child/young adult and make them part of the family without hesitation. To be a family where their source of strength and love for one another comes from Christ. Where the love of Christ and a passion to do His will be core of the family.

I have been so blessed this week by everyone in the family. Their love for me has reminded me of how good God is. To see that in this tiny town their are people who are so in love with God also. 

To come about 990 miles away from home and there are people who want to bring the world to know Christ. To come to a house where parents are raising children to go spread the gospel, to be obedient in what God has called them to do. 

It is just beautiful. 

I love the Clawson family of Minnesota.

I was with my college group tonight and we were playing kickball and then had some worship time outside in the soccer fields at Richland.

At the begging of worship the sky was gray and it look like it was going to rain. As we got into worship and we were lifting our voice to the Savior of this world and praying for the campus and over the city the clouds started to turn red. Slowly the red color started to spread out to the other clouds. At the end the clouds were red all around as far as you can imagine, it was beautiful. 

It is amazing to know that Jesus’ blood is over us, that His salvation is limitless and for everyone. That this blood can save this whole city. That He is raising us up here at Richland to go to the nations and to proclaim freedom to the captives and set His people free. That He is with us forever. 

My general manager at work is so amazing, so humble.

He inspires me. I do not know if he knows Jesus, I do not think he does. But how humble he is, it is beautiful.

He loves all of us with an awesome love, he is like a father to us, gives us that love, speaks to us like one, he plays around like one, and is serious like one.

He does everything.. He cleans the dinning room (floors, restocking, picking up the dishes, cleaning off the table.) He becomes the dish-washer person (cleans all the dishes and silverware) He does the register, bakery, line, a baker, phone ins, and whatever else there is. He wears an apron and it is not the pretty one some of us got but the ugly one. He wears it every time he comes into work. I never seen him without it unless he is walking into work or leaving work and I never seen the other managers wear an apron but maybe once.

At night when closing, he comes and helps us close before he takes the last few mins to go and finish his stuff.  He puts us before himself.

He is the General Manager but he humbles himself like another associate. 

The way he is reminds me of Jesus. When I see him and his actions I think of Jesus. 

Jesus came down and humbled himself to the point of death on the cross.

Jesus became one of us and suffered like we do (even worse).  Jesus cleaned his disciples feet. I bet my GM would too.

It motivates me more to be more like Christ (especially since I am trying to me more like Him and know Him).

This awesome man who doesn’t know Christ is so humble more than a person who does.

 I led Jesus into the wilderness by My Spirit, and I will lead you there too… 

“Behold, I will bring you into the wilderness and speak tenderly to you.  I will make the Valley of Trouble a door of hope for you.  And you will give yourself to me there as you did long ago when I first freed you from your captivity.  And in that day, you will call Me ‘My Husband.’”  (Hosea 2:14-16)

I am calling you away to be filled by Me alone.  You think it’s your weakness but it is really My mercy and my jealous love that woos you into the wilderness.  I will refuse to let you be satisfied by anything/anyone but Me alone.  My jealousy is not mean; my jealousy is for you.  I AM for you.  My desire is that your heart may find its home in Me because I AM your highest joy.  I AM the fullness of your joy.

I AM bringing you to a higher place where your hope is not attached to your circumstances, to this present earth where disappointments abound.  I AM calling you higher and deeper into Me, into My heart.  Lift your vision.  Come up here where I have seated you…

Do not be afraid.  Keep pursuing Me, and you will win.  Do not be afraid.  Don’t give up and don’t lose heart.  Fix your eyes on Me.  I AM close to you in your weakness.  I see the yes in your heart and I AM committed to you. 

I AM perfecting you in love.  Let My love separate you and consecrate you.  You will know and believe the love I have for you.  I will open your eyes and fascinate your heart.  Your hope will be rooted in Me, and all of your desire will be for Me.  I see you not conforming to this world; I see you choosing righteousness and fighting to be wholly mine.  No more props, no more compromise, no more sin hindering your affections for Me.  You will come up from the wilderness leaning on Me. 

I see you as the day of My coming draws near.  I AM eagerly waiting for that day, the day of the gladness of My heart, when I will receive you as My Bride.  Anchor your hope in this: My return is certain.  I will make all things new.  I AM your inheritance, your Husband.
